January 17, 2019

CSHub traveled to Washington D.C. to attend the Transportation Research Board's 98th Annual Meeting where we presented our most recent research on pavements. Postdoctoral Associate Mehdi Akbarian presented, "Economic and Environmental Analysis of Pavement Management System Parameters for Performance Based Planning: A Case Study of North Carolina's Interstate System." The research for this poster was conducted in collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Research Assistant Fengdi Guo presented his poster, "Probablistic Life-Cycle Cost Analysis of Pavements Based on Simulation Optimization," which discussed how state agencies can optimize their pavement networks by considering a diverse array of pavement treatment options.
