CSHub researchers participated in an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) event in early Februrary called the “Forum on Life Cycle Approaches to Sustainably Manage Materials in Building and Infrastructure Projects” in Arlington, Virginia. According to a brief on the event, the Forum "brought together a diverse set of stakeholders from across the life cycle of building and infrastructure projects including: members of academia, architects, contractors, designers, government representatives and recyclers." Discussions at the event looked at "life cycle approaches in the context of the built environment, identify challenges and next steps to advance life cycle principles."
Team members then headed to the Maryland Quality Initiative conference, or 2018 MdQI Conference, to present pavements research. Later in the month, researchers presented at the Wisconsin Concrete Paving Association (WCPA) Annual Concrete Pavement Workshop.
In early March, team members presented at the PCA Spring Congress.
