Speaking engagements in the month of May again took CSHub researchers to sites across the country. Team members gave five presentations at the International Concrete Sustainability Conference in Washington, D.C., May 15-18, on a range of CSHub research-related topics. That same week, other researchers traveled to Phoenix for The International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technologies (ISSST) 2016 to discuss CSHub buildings-related work, and CSHub Principal Investigator Franz-Josef Ulm traveled to Dallas, TX, to address participants of the IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference as a keynote speaker.

Later in the month, researchers Mehdi Akbarian and Arghavan Louhghalam traveled to Nashville, TN, the site of the jointly presented Engineering Mechanics Institute Conference 2016 (EMI 2016) and Probabilistic Mechanics & Reliability Conference 2016 (PMC 2016), where they presented on Pavements and Pavement Vehicle Interaction (PVI)
