CSHub researchers opened 2016 with three speaking engagements in January. Early in the month, Xin Xu, Omar Swei and Arghavan Louhghalam traveled to Washington, D.C., to present at the 95th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board. Five papers were published in conjunction with the meeting, all of which can be found on our Peer-Reviewed Publications list.
Mid-month, Reed Miller traveled to Louisville, KY to present at a Kentucky RMCA meeting and then to Orlando to speak at the 2016 Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH) meeting. At FLASH, Reed participated in a FEMA-led panel on resilient building materials and presented research on how disaster resistance impacts long-term LCA of homes.
The Hub ended 2015 strong with presentations to the Federal Highway Administration’s Sustainable Pavements Technical Working Group (SP TWG) and presentations to two Ohio Concrete regional seminars.
