How to make cities more energy efficient

Newly-published research shows how to identify the buildings where retrofitting for energy efficiency will have the biggest impact on a city’s overall greenhouse gas emissions. The new analysis, according to CSHub Principal Investigator Franz-Josef Ulm, could make it possible for cities to adopt “very targeted strategies” for reducing energy use for heating and cooling.
