CSHub Presents at the National Disaster Resilience Conference

November 14, 2018
CSHub researchers traveled to Clearwater Beach, Florida to present at the National Disaster Resilience Conference, an event hosted by the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes. There, Bensu Manav, a research assistant, discussed CSHub's latest work. Her presentation, "A New Approach to Building a Neighborhood Scale Resilience Assessment," considered resilience at the neighborhood level, rather than simply focusing on individual buildings. Through this more holistic perspective, CSHub researchers have begun to better anticipate wind loads on cities and estimate the costs of disasters.
